It’s amazing how much influence our modern-day culture has on individuals. In an open forum, I read some comments about naming children and came across the following: “My son Luke loves that I named my children after Star Wars characters. My daughter, Chewbacca, not so much.”
Does the Bible address names? Glad you asked.
A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold.
A good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death than the day of birth.
Heavy stuff, but give it some thought.
