I read the obituary because my presence in it is not far down the road. However, here is one that I see often and find very hurtful. “They left us unexpectedly in search of peace.”
Now the Bible teaches that peace is to be found in this lifetime and continues for eternity. The Bible describes it as the peace of God.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
If it is not experienced now, it won’t be experienced later.
Give it some careful consideration.
