A poodle and a collie are walking together when the poodle suddenly unloads on his friend. “My life is a mess,” he says. “My owner is mean, my girlfriend ran away with a Schnauzer, and I’m as jittery as a cat.”
“Why don’t you go see a psychiatrist?” suggests the collie.
“I can’t,” says the poodle. “I’m not allowed on the couch.”
Sometimes there is just no access to the help one needs. That is not the case for human beings.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.
The Lord is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.
Don’t be afraid of crying out for help. Give it some thought.
