If you bought a new vehicle, wouldn’t you want to road test it to see if it lived up to its advertised possibilities? So, it is with God. Is He what He claims to be as revealed in Holy Writ?
Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. And thereby put Me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
This command was to Israel about putting God first. Try that for yourself. Time is slipping by.
