So you have a hard time thinking God is considering you. You think maybe His thoughts are on the major political and religious personalities. Remember that they weren’t invited to the birthplace of Christ but the shepherds were.
Matthew 10:29,31
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.
Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
He is concerned about you.

Lacking in self-esteem? So was Abraham. You have that in common with him. We have evidence that God listened to Abraham and He will listen to you. As such, you can make a difference in others’ lives too.

Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;

5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

The prophets were instructed to comfort a captive people in a foreign land. It was a time of confusion and trial but comfort would come from the Word of God.
Isaiah 40:1
“Comfort, yes, comfort My people!”
Says your God.
Fox, CNN, CBS or Facebook will not provide what is necessary for peace of mind during the present crisis but the Word of God will.

This time of year we are observing the trees for the return of life.
Here’s one that needs special attention.
She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who retain her.
We find in the Word of God a map to navigate this worldly jungle of uncertainty.

Bring those thoughts into captivity and be obedient to Christ.
Our problem is not what is going on in the world around us but what is simmering in our mind.
