He was about six feet tall and two hundred thirty pounds. The boy he was chasing as he was running towards the river was three years old and convinced that he could outrun his father.
I remembered that scene from Scripture.
”All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” –Isaiah 53:6
It ended well for that boy because of the father’s watch care over him.
For this same reason it ends well for every believer.
