1 Thessalonians 5:17-18
pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
The word “everything” in the verse carries a tremendous amount of weight. The Apostle Paul described it this way:
I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things, I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Life has hills and valleys, and one must be prepared for both. The key is prayer. Give it some thought.
