Once, when a stubborn disputer seemed unconvinced, Abraham Lincoln said, “Well, let’s see how many legs has a cow?” “Four, of course,” came the reply disgustedly. “That’s right,” agreed Lincoln. “Now suppose you call the cow’s tail a leg; how many legs would the cow have?” “Why, five, of course,” was the confident reply. “Now, that’s where you’re wrong,” said Lincoln. “Calling a cow’s tail, a leg doesn’t make it a leg.”
The Apostle Paul was discussing those who were perverting the gospel and he made a similar statement:
Galatians 1:6-7
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—
not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.
It’s only a duck if it has webbed feet, feathers, can fly, swim and quacks.
Do you believe the Gospel or some other gospel?
Think about it.
