I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific.
Lily was right on that account. Many come to the closing chapter of their lives and wish they had it to do all over again because it was a mess. Fact is that we don’t know how to do it correctly apart from tremendous input from the Creator.
Isaiah 51:1-2
“Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness,
You who seek the Lord:
Look to the rock from which you were hewn,
And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug.
Look to Abraham your father,
And to Sarah who bore you;
For I called him alone,
And blessed him and increased him.”
Our Maker can accomplish something in our lives that we couldn’t possibly do on our own. Give it some consideration.
