Look

A boy in Sunday school heard the story about Lot’s wife looking back and turning into a pillar of salt. When the teacher asked if there were any comments on this story, one little boy said, “That’s nothing! Last week, my mom looked back when she was driving and turned into a telephone pole!”

Does it matter where you look? It sure does!  Guess what: The Bible has a lot to say about that.

Ephesians 5:15

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,

Philippians 2:4

Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Philippians 3:2

Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh.

Hebrews 12:2

looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Be careful where you are looking. Give it some thought.
