Recorded on 21 and 22 October 1965, “Nowhere Man” describes a man with no direction in his life and with no genuine worldview.
He’s a real nowhere man
Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody
Doesn’t have a point of view
Knows not where he’s going to
Isn’t he a bit like you and me?
Nowhere man, please listen
You don’t know what you’re missing
Nowhere man, the world is at your command
He’s as blind as he can be
Just sees what he wants to see
Nowhere man, can you see me at all
Nowhere man, don’t worry
Take your time, don’t hurry
Leave it all ’til somebody else
Lends you a hand
The Beetles hit the nail on the head with that one. There are so many on the planet who don’t know where they came from, what they are doing here or where they are going after this. They are waiting for something to happen as they live a life of quiet desperation.

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.
