He’s old and gray. What does he know about life? It’s our turn to take the wheel, time for a younger generation to take over. “Don’t trust anyone over sixty.” was the mantra of the sixties. However, the Word of God puts a different view on age.
Wisdom is with the aged, and understanding in length of days.
So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim Your might to another generation, Your power to all those to come.
“You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.
Give it some careful consideration.
