Many times an instructor will encourage the class to ask questions by saying, “There is no such a thing as a dumb question.” I’ve taught enough classes in my lifetime to know there are plenty of dumb questions. I told a student once, “Did that question come out of the twilight zone?”
The greatest question found in the Book of Acts is in 16:30, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” The answer to that is so simple. Paul stated, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” The sin problem that has plagued us all our lives can be placed squarely on the finished work of Christ.
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
That is the most intelligent question ever contemplated. Has that concern come out of your mouth? If not, ask it today and the answer will surprise you.
Give it some thought.
