Just before a long holiday weekend, a minister waited in line to have his car filled with gas. The attendant worked quickly, but there were many cars also in the queue. Finally, the attendant motioned the minister toward a vacant pump. “Reverend,” said the young man, “I’m so sorry about the delay. It seems as if everyone waits until the last minute to get ready for a long trip.”
The minister chuckled, “I know what you mean. It’s the same in my business.”
how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
Ready or not, the last minute is approaching. Give it some thought.
