The British navy named her “The Hood.” This battleship was the pride of the navy, but one shell from the German Bismark took the lives of 1,415 sailors and only left three to tell the story.
This reminds me of the massive power of the evil one. How many has he taken over the years because they just didn’t have the armor necessary to meet the challenge?
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Be ready, because his sights might be on you. Give it some thought.
