Why did it have to be a friend

That’s not what a kiss is for!
Only a friend can betray a friend.

And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God.
You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
Do you know the pain of betrayal? Certainly, the betrayal of a friend produces greater pain. Don’t do it to Him. Give it some thought.
