Mice die in mouse traps because they do not understand why the cheese is free. How many today don’t have to work because of free stuff? Examining the quality of life of these individuals, I conclude it is better to work for the cheese. Does the Bible address this fact? Glad you asked.
For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.
Remember, this is referring to church members. Let the world continue with their free stuff, but in the church everyone should work.
