Rosenbergs

Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were an American married couple convicted and executed in 1953 for passing nuclear and military secrets to the Soviet Union during the Cold War. They were the only American civilians executed for espionage-related charges during the Cold War.

It is a terrible thing to sell out your country. However, Scripture describes a time when many will sell out what we hold dear.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

I’m not sure if we are close to the end, but these people can be found not only in our world but also in our churches as well. Give it some thought.
