“It doesn’t matter how much you played the game, for this is a brand-new game.”
I don’t know where that statement came from, but here is my take on it. Diagnosed with cancer, death of a loved one, a financial set back, the loss of a career would represent new games in the game of life. How do you get your footing back and move on? Let me suggest something when confronted with a brand-new game.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God, whose Word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
You can always be ready for a new game when God is on your side. Give it some thought.
