She didn’t have much but believed her lot was to help babies come into the world. This lady was the first to lay eyes on me, over seventy-four years ago. As a midwife, she received no remuneration, and I never did thank her for helping me come into the world. To tell the truth, the tremendous part she played in my life is just hitting me now.
We need to take some time and examine our personal history. Some folks back there need to be recognized even if they are long gone.
It is the same for the many characters mentioned in the Bible. Look at what we have been given because of them. Be thankful.
